### sec.90 Dealing with casual vacancy in office of elected member
This section applies if a casual vacancy arises in the office of an elected member after the commencement and before the ballot mentioned in section 86(1) is conducted.
For appointing or electing a person to the office, the pre-amended Act continues to apply as if the University Legislation Amendment Act 2005 , part 3 , had not commenced.

(sec.90-ssec.1) This section applies if a casual vacancy arises in the office of an elected member after the commencement and before the ballot mentioned in section 86(1) is conducted.
