### sec.91 Criteria
In deciding whether to approve a proposed development plan the Minister must consider the following—
the potential of the area of the proposed geothermal lease for geothermal production and related activities;
the nature and extent of the proposed activities and when and where they will be carried out;
whether geothermal production under the geothermal lease will be optimised in the best interests of the State;
the nature and extent of water disposal and treatment activities;
any relevant environmental authority;
any relevant Water Act authorisation;
any potential structural and other impacts of the carrying out of the proposed activities on aquifers.
The matters mentioned in subsection (1) are the development plan criteria .

- (g) any potential structural and other impacts of the carrying out of the proposed activities on aquifers.
