### sec.43 Priority for deciding competing applications This section applies if 2 or more geothermal permit applications are— for land in a released area and made before the end of the application period for the area; or for the same land and made on the same day. Competing applications for land other than land in a released area can not be made on different days. See section 35 . The applications take the priority the Minister decides, after considering the relative merits of each application.
