### sec.41 Criteria for decisions
In deciding whether or not to grant the applicant a geothermal permit, or in deciding its provisions, the Minister must consider—
the applicant’s proposed initial work program; and
the extent to which the Minister is of the opinion that the applicant is capable (the capability criteria ) of carrying out authorised activities for the geothermal permit, having regard to the applicant’s—
financial and technical resources; and
ability to manage geothermal exploration.
- (a) the applicant’s proposed initial work program; and
- (b) the extent to which the Minister is of the opinion that the applicant is capable (the capability criteria ) of carrying out authorised activities for the geothermal permit, having regard to the applicant’s— (i) financial and technical resources; and (ii) ability to manage geothermal exploration.
