### sec.349 Additional orders that may be made on conviction If a court convicts a person for an offence against this Act, it may— order the forfeiture to the State of— anything used to commit the offence; or anything else the subject of the offence; and make any order to enforce the forfeiture it considers appropriate; and order the person to pay the State the amount of costs it incurred for remedial work that was necessary or desirable because of the commission of the offence. Forfeiture of a thing may be ordered— whether or not it has been seized under this Act; and if it has been seized under this Act, whether or not it has been returned to its owner.
