### sec.326 Consequence of failure to comply with relinquishment requirement
This section applies if—
noncompliance action taken is a requirement under section 320 (1) (b) of a geothermal tenure holder; and
the requirement is not complied with.
The Minister must give the holder a notice requiring the holder to comply with the requirement under section 320 (1) (b) within 20 business days after the giving of the notice.
If the holder does not comply with the requirement under the notice, the geothermal tenure is cancelled.
However, the cancellation does not take effect until the Minister gives the holder a notice stating that the geothermal tenure has been cancelled because of the operation of subsection (3) .
(sec.326-ssec.1) This section applies if— noncompliance action taken is a requirement under section 320 (1) (b) of a geothermal tenure holder; and the requirement is not complied with.

- (b) the requirement is not complied with.
