### sec.306 Requirements for entry to ensure compliance Remedial powers may be exercised for the primary or secondary land under section 305 only if a following person is given notice of the proposed entry at least 10 business days before the proposed entry— if the land has an occupier—any occupier of the land; if the land does not have an occupier—its owner. The notice must— identify the authorised person; and describe the land; and state— that the authorised person has under this section, been authorised to enter the land; and the purpose of the entry; and the period of the entry. The chief executive may approve the giving of the notice by publishing it in a stated way. The chief executive may give the approval only if satisfied the publication is reasonably likely to adequately inform the person to whom the notice is required to be given of the proposed entry. If the authorised person intends to enter the land and any occupier of the land is present at the land, the person also must show or make a reasonable attempt to show the occupier the person’s authorisation under this section.
