### sec.198 Requirements for drilling geothermal well A person drilling a geothermal well must comply with— any requirements prescribed under a regulation for the drilling of the geothermal well; and any relevant requirements about construction and drilling standards for water well drilling activities under the Water Act . Maximum penalty—500 penalty units. If a corporation commits an offence against this provision, an executive officer of the corporation may be taken, under section 333A , to have also committed the offence. s 198 amd 2013 No. 51 s 229 sch 1 - (a) any requirements prescribed under a regulation for the drilling of the geothermal well; and - (b) any relevant requirements about construction and drilling standards for water well drilling activities under the Water Act .
