### sec.53 Criminal history reports
This section applies in relation to an investigation of a person for sections 49 (2) and (3) , 57 (2) (a) , 93 (1) , 136 , 200 (2) (a) and 212 .
If the commissioner asks the police commissioner for a written report on the person’s criminal history, the police commissioner must give the report to the commissioner.
The report must contain—
relevant information in the police commissioner’s possession; and
relevant information the police commissioner can reasonably obtain by asking officials administering police services in other Australian jurisdictions; and
other relevant information to which the police commissioner has access.

(sec.53-ssec.1) This section applies in relation to an investigation of a person for sections 49 (2) and (3) , 57 (2) (a) , 93 (1) , 136 , 200 (2) (a) and 212 .
(sec.53-ssec.2) If the commissioner asks the police commissioner for a written report on the person’s criminal history, the police commissioner must give the report to the commissioner.
(sec.53-ssec.3) The report must contain— relevant information in the police commissioner’s possession; and relevant information the police commissioner can reasonably obtain by asking officials administering police services in other Australian jurisdictions; and other relevant information to which the police commissioner has access.
