sec.326Interpretation

### sec.326 Interpretation In this division— article means— gaming equipment; or a restricted component; or a device capable of being represented as being a gaming machine or linked jackpot equipment; or anything capable of forming gaming equipment; or anything inserted, or capable of being inserted, into a gaming machine in order to operate or gain credit on the gaming machine (other than a gaming token of the denomination or type displayed on the gaming machine); or any device intended for use, or capable of being used, to interfere with the normal operation of gaming equipment; or anything that permits or facilitates cheating or stealing; or a gaming token; or any lock or key; or any counter of or apparatus for weighing gaming tokens; or any other item related to— gaming or the conduct of gaming; or the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment. s 326 def article amd 1999 No. 77 s 133 ; 2008 No. 2 s 57 (1) records means any books, accounts, records or documents, in any form, which are related to— the conduct of gaming; or the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment; or the administration of licensed premises. s 326 def records amd 2008 No. 2 s 57 (2) s 326 amd 2005 No. 12 s 88 sch - (a) gaming equipment; or - (b) a restricted component; or - (c) a device capable of being represented as being a gaming machine or linked jackpot equipment; or - (d) anything capable of forming gaming equipment; or - (e) anything inserted, or capable of being inserted, into a gaming machine in order to operate or gain credit on the gaming machine (other than a gaming token of the denomination or type displayed on the gaming machine); or - (f) any device intended for use, or capable of being used, to interfere with the normal operation of gaming equipment; or - (g) anything that permits or facilitates cheating or stealing; or - (h) a gaming token; or - (i) any lock or key; or - (j) any counter of or apparatus for weighing gaming tokens; or - (k) any other item related to— (i) gaming or the conduct of gaming; or (ii) the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment. - (i) gaming or the conduct of gaming; or - (ii) the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment. - (i) gaming or the conduct of gaming; or - (ii) the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment. - (a) the conduct of gaming; or - (b) the manufacture, assembly, sale, supply, installation, alteration, obtaining, possession, operation, use, adjustment, maintenance, repair or testing of gaming equipment; or - (c) the administration of licensed premises.
