### sec.261A Self-exclusion order
If a person gives a licensee a self-exclusion notice under section 261 , the licensee must as soon as practicable give to the person—
a notice in the approved form (a self-exclusion order ) prohibiting the person from entering or remaining in the licensed premises or gaming machine area; and
details, including the name and address, of at least 1 entity that provides counselling services for persons experiencing harm from gambling.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
A self-exclusion order has effect for the period—
starting when it is given to the person; and
ending on the earlier of the following—
when a revocation notice for the order takes effect under section 261B (3) ;
the day that is 5 years after the day the order is given to the person.
