### sec.214D Immediate suspension
The commissioner may suspend a licence under this part immediately if the commissioner believes—
a ground exists to suspend or cancel the licence; and
it is necessary to suspend the licence immediately—
in the public interest; or
to ensure the integrity of the conduct of gaming is not jeopardised.
The suspension—
can be effected only by the commissioner giving the holder of the licence an information notice for the decision to suspend it, together with a show cause notice; and
operates immediately the information notice is given to the holder; and
continues to operate until the show cause notice is finally dealt with.
If the commissioner believes the holder of the licence is employed by an interested person of the holder, the commissioner must immediately give written notice of the suspension to the interested person.
