### sec.203 Issue of copy or replacement licence
If the commissioner is satisfied that a licence under this part that is in force has been damaged, lost or destroyed, the commissioner, upon payment of the fee prescribed, may issue to the holder of the licence a copy of the licence.
If the commissioner is satisfied the name of a person who is the holder of a licence under this part has been changed, the commissioner must issue to the person a fresh licence, stating the person’s current name, to replace the licence (the affected licence ) previously issued to the person.
However, the commissioner is required to issue a licence to a person under subsection (2) only if—
the fee prescribed under a regulation for the issue of the licence has been paid to the commissioner; and
the person’s affected licence has been returned to the commissioner.
A copy of a licence issued under subsection (1) , for all purposes, has the same effect as the original licence of which it is a copy.
