### sec.120 Investigations about application In considering an application for a supplier’s licence, the commissioner must conduct the investigations the commissioner considers are necessary to help the commissioner decide— whether the applicant is a suitable person to hold a supplier’s licence of the kind applied for; and if there is a disclosed associate for the applicant—whether the associate is a suitable person to be associated with the operations of a licensed supplier holding a supplier’s licence of the kind applied for. Without limiting subsection (1) , the commissioner may conduct the investigations the commissioner considers are necessary to help the commissioner decide whether a general associate of the applicant is a suitable person to be associated with the operations of a licensed supplier holding a supplier’s licence of the kind applied for. s 120 ins 1997 No. 24 s 13 amd 1999 No. 77 s 40 ; 2012 No. 25 s 109 (1) (sec.120-ssec.1) In considering an application for a supplier’s licence, the commissioner must conduct the investigations the commissioner considers are necessary to help the commissioner decide— whether the applicant is a suitable person to hold a supplier’s licence of the kind applied for; and if there is a disclosed associate for the applicant—whether the associate is a suitable person to be associated with the operations of a licensed supplier holding a supplier’s licence of the kind applied for.
