### sec.74 Authorised officer’s conditions of appointment
An authorised officer holds office on the conditions specified in the instrument of appointment.
An authorised officer—
if the appointment provides for a term of appointment—ceases holding office at the end of the term; and
may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the chief executive; and
if the conditions of appointment provide—ceases holding office as an authorised officer on ceasing to hold another office stated in the conditions of appointment.
In this section—
authorised officer means a person appointed as an authorised officer.
(sec.74-ssec.1) An authorised officer holds office on the conditions specified in the instrument of appointment.
(sec.74-ssec.2) An authorised officer— if the appointment provides for a term of appointment—ceases holding office at the end of the term; and may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the chief executive; and if the conditions of appointment provide—ceases holding office as an authorised officer on ceasing to hold another office stated in the conditions of appointment.
(sec.74-ssec.3) In this section— authorised officer means a person appointed as an authorised officer.
- (a) if the appointment provides for a term of appointment—ceases holding office at the end of the term; and
- (b) may resign by signed notice of resignation given to the chief executive; and
- (c) if the conditions of appointment provide—ceases holding office as an authorised officer on ceasing to hold another office stated in the conditions of appointment.
