### sec.7 Meaning of watercourse
A watercourse is a river, creek or stream in which water flows permanently or intermittently.
A river, creek or stream is a watercourse even if the water flows—
in an artificially improved channel; or
in an artificial channel that has changed the path of the river, creek or stream.
Watercourse includes the beds and banks of a river, creek or stream, and elements of a river, creek or stream that may confine or contain water.
(sec.7-ssec.1) A watercourse is a river, creek or stream in which water flows permanently or intermittently.
(sec.7-ssec.2) A river, creek or stream is a watercourse even if the water flows— in an artificially improved channel; or in an artificial channel that has changed the path of the river, creek or stream.
(sec.7-ssec.3) Watercourse includes the beds and banks of a river, creek or stream, and elements of a river, creek or stream that may confine or contain water.
- (a) in an artificially improved channel; or
- (b) in an artificial channel that has changed the path of the river, creek or stream.
