### sec.59 Applications for fossickers camping permits An application for a permit must be made to an issuing officer for the land to which the application applies. The application must be in the approved form and accompanied by the fee prescribed by regulation for the permit. However, if the chief executive, by gazette notice, directs that an application for a permit for particular designated fossicking land or a particular fossicking area must be made to a particular issuing officer, an application of that kind must be made to that issuing officer. If a person may camp on particular land under self-registration procedures, this section does not prevent the person applying for a permit under the self-registration procedures. (sec.59-ssec.1) An application for a permit must be made to an issuing officer for the land to which the application applies.
