### sec.23 Return of licence
The holder of a suspended licence, or the former holder of a cancelled licence, must return the licence to the chief executive within 7 days after the suspension or cancellation takes effect, unless the person has a reasonable excuse for not returning it or not returning it within that time.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
If a suspended licence is returned to the chief executive, the chief executive must return it to the licensee at the end of the suspension period.
