### sec.10 Act’s application to State forests, timber reserves and forest entitlement areas
This Act applies to a State forest, timber reserve or forest entitlement area that is not part of a protected area only if—
the forest, reserve or area becomes designated fossicking land or a fossicking area; or
the chief executive of the department in which the Forestry Act 1959 is administered gives a general permission for fossicking or camping in the forest, reserve or area.
