### sec.69J Littering
A person must not leave litter brought into a State forest or timber reserve, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
the person has collected litter from public land next to the State forest or timber reserve and brings the litter into the State forest or timber reserve to put it in a litter bin
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
A person must not, unless the person has a reasonable excuse, leave litter in a State forest or timber reserve—
other than in a litter bin; or
in contravention of a regulatory notice.

If a forest officer or plantation officer considers it reasonably necessary, the officer may direct a person to remove the person’s litter from a State forest or timber reserve, even if there is a litter bin in the State forest or timber reserve.

A person given a direction under subsection (3) must, unless the person has a reasonable excuse, comply with the direction—
immediately after the direction is given; or
if the direction includes a time within which the person must comply, within that time.
