### sec.61Q Definitions for pt 6D
In this part—
compensation event see section 61RH (1) .
plantation forestry , in relation to a licence area, means—
the production, on the licence area on an ongoing basis, of natural resource product in the form of plantation timber for commercial purposes; and
planting, maintaining and felling trees for sale
selling carbon storage or carbon sequestration rights in plantation timber
selling rights to harvest timber
the management of the licence area in a way consistent with sustainable management practices for plantation forests that are generally accepted in the Australian plantation forestry industry at the relevant time.
relevant State land means all land (including roads and reserves), other than freehold land or land contracted to be granted in fee simple by the State.
