### sec.21 Officers not to trade in timber etc.
No officer in the officer’s personal capacity shall become in any way concerned or interested in any lease, permit, or licence, or other similar right or authority granted under this Act or under any enactment repealed by this Act or in any contract or agreement made under or for any of the purposes of this Act or in anywise participate or claim to be entitled to participate in the profit thereof or in any benefit or emolument arising therefrom.
However, an officer may, with the consent in writing of the chief executive first had and obtained, purchase, on such terms as the chief executive deems fit, forest products and quarry material the property of the Crown for the officer’s own personal use and enjoyment.
In this section—
officer includes plantation officer.
