### sec.40 Treasurer’s general approval The Treasurer may, by gazette notice, approve the exercise of powers under this Act by departments and statutory bodies (a Treasurer’s general approval ). The Treasurer’s general approval may— apply generally to all departments, statutory bodies, powers and matters; or be limited in its application to— particular departments, statutory bodies, powers or matters; or particular classes of departments, statutory bodies, powers or matters; or be limited in its application by reference to stated exceptions or factors. Also, the approval may— make different provision for— different departments, statutory bodies, powers or matters; or different classes of departments, statutory bodies, powers or matters; or apply differently to stated exceptions or factors. A Treasurer’s general approval may apply to a department or statutory body even if the department or body was not established when the approval was given.
