### sec.42 Signatures of holders of public offices etc. to be judicially noticed
Judicial notice must be taken of—
the signature of a person who is or has been the holder of a public office; and
the fact that the person holds or has held the office.
For subsection (1) , the following offices are public offices—
the office of Governor;
the office of a Minister;
the office of a judge, magistrate or warden;
the office of an official of a court;
the office of a justice of the peace or commissioner for declarations;
another office of a public nature established under an Act;
an office prescribed under an Act for this section.
Schedule 1 provides examples of offices of a public nature established under an Act.
This section is in addition to, and does not limit, the common law, another provision of this Act or a provision of another Act.

(sec.42-ssec.1) Judicial notice must be taken of— the signature of a person who is or has been the holder of a public office; and the fact that the person holds or has held the office.
(sec.42-ssec.2) For subsection (1) , the following offices are public offices— the office of Governor; the office of a Minister; the office of a judge, magistrate or warden; the office of an official of a court; the office of a justice of the peace or commissioner for declarations; another office of a public nature established under an Act; an office prescribed under an Act for this section.
