### sec.21KI Delegation
Other than as provided by this section, and despite any other Act or law to the contrary, the powers of a chief executive officer under this division may not be delegated to any other person.
A chief executive officer of a law enforcement agency may delegate any of the chief executive officer’s powers under this division, other than this power of delegation, to a senior officer of the agency.
In this section—
senior officer , of a law enforcement agency, means—
for the police service—a deputy commissioner of the police service; or
for the CCC—a senior executive officer under the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 .

(sec.21KI-ssec.3) In this section— senior officer , of a law enforcement agency, means— for the police service—a deputy commissioner of the police service; or for the CCC—a senior executive officer under the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 .
- (a) for the police service—a deputy commissioner of the police service; or
- (b) for the CCC—a senior executive officer under the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 .
