### sec.21KC Permission to give information disclosing operative’s identity etc.
This section applies if the chief executive officer of a law enforcement agency gives a witness identity protection certificate for an operative of the agency in relation to a proceeding.
The chief executive officer may, in writing, permit a person to give information, otherwise than in the proceeding, that discloses, or may lead to the disclosure of, the operative’s identity or where the operative lives if the chief executive officer considers it necessary or appropriate for the information to be given.
The permission must state—
the name of the person who may give the information; and
the name of the person to whom the information may be given; and
the information that may be given.
The permission also may state how the information may be given.

(sec.21KC-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive officer of a law enforcement agency gives a witness identity protection certificate for an operative of the agency in relation to a proceeding.
(sec.21KC-ssec.2) The chief executive officer may, in writing, permit a person to give information, otherwise than in the proceeding, that discloses, or may lead to the disclosure of, the operative’s identity or where the operative lives if the chief executive officer considers it necessary or appropriate for the information to be given.
(sec.21KC-ssec.3) The permission must state— the name of the person who may give the information; and the name of the person to whom the information may be given; and the information that may be given.
(sec.21KC-ssec.4) The permission also may state how the information may be given.
- (a) the name of the person who may give the information; and
- (b) the name of the person to whom the information may be given; and
- (c) the information that may be given.
