### sec.21AP Application of sdiv 4
This subdivision applies to taking an affected child’s evidence—
for a summary trial for a relevant offence, if the evidence is not taken under subdivision 3 ; or
for a trial on indictment for a relevant offence, if the evidence is not taken under subdivision 3 ; or
for a committal proceeding for a relevant offence, if a magistrate or justices give a direction as mentioned in section 21AG (7) (b) that the child’s evidence is to be taken under this subdivision; or
for summary trial, trial on indictment or committal proceeding for a relevant offence, if the child is ordered under section 21AN to attend at the proceeding to give further evidence; or
for a civil proceeding arising from the commission of a relevant offence.
Subsection (1) applies to a proceeding whether or not the proceeding also relates to offences other than the relevant offence.

- (d) for summary trial, trial on indictment or committal proceeding for a relevant offence, if the child is ordered under section 21AN to attend at the proceeding to give further evidence; or
- (e) for a civil proceeding arising from the commission of a relevant offence.
