### sec.169 Application of repealed Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 1978
Subsection (2) applies in relation to an offence against the repealed Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 1978 , former section 6 or former section 7F committed by a person before the commencement.
Without limiting the Acts Interpretation Act 1954 , section 20, a proceeding for the offence may be continued or started, and the person may be convicted of and punished for the offence, as if the Criminal Law (Coercive Control and Affirmative Consent) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2024 , section 103 had not commenced.
Subsection (2) applies despite the Criminal Code, section 11.
