### sec.131 Witnesses for defence to be sworn
In a criminal proceeding, any person who gives evidence on behalf of the defence shall first take an oath in such manner as the person would by law be obliged to do if the person were a witness for the prosecution.
Subsection (1) is subject to part 2 , division 1A .
