### sec.103R Permitted use of transcript of recorded statement by employment-screening applicant or applicant’s lawyer
This section applies if an employment-screening applicant is given a written summary of a transcript of a recorded statement because an employment-screening decision has been, or is proposed to be, made about the person.
The employment-screening applicant may—
possess the summary; or
supply, or offer to supply, the summary to an Australian lawyer to obtain legal advice in relation to the employment-screening decision; or
copy, or permit another person to copy, the summary for the purpose mentioned in paragraph (b) .
The lawyer may possess or copy the summary for the purpose of providing legal advice to the employment-screening applicant in relation to the employment-screening decision.

(sec.103R-ssec.1) This section applies if an employment-screening applicant is given a written summary of a transcript of a recorded statement because an employment-screening decision has been, or is proposed to be, made about the person.
(sec.103R-ssec.2) The employment-screening applicant may— possess the summary; or supply, or offer to supply, the summary to an Australian lawyer to obtain legal advice in relation to the employment-screening decision; or copy, or permit another person to copy, the summary for the purpose mentioned in paragraph (b) .
(sec.103R-ssec.3) The lawyer may possess or copy the summary for the purpose of providing legal advice to the employment-screening applicant in relation to the employment-screening decision.
- (a) possess the summary; or
- (b) supply, or offer to supply, the summary to an Australian lawyer to obtain legal advice in relation to the employment-screening decision; or
- (c) copy, or permit another person to copy, the summary for the purpose mentioned in paragraph (b) .
