### sec.103B Meaning of domestic violence offence
A domestic violence offence is—
an offence against the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 , part 7 ; or
an offence against another Act committed by a person where the act or omission that constitutes the offence is also—
domestic violence or associated domestic violence under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 committed by the person; or
a contravention of the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 , section 177 (2) .
Under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 , section 177 (2) , a respondent against whom a domestic violence order has been made under that Act must not contravene the order.

- (a) an offence against the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 , part 7 ; or
- (b) an offence against another Act committed by a person where the act or omission that constitutes the offence is also— (i) domestic violence or associated domestic violence under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 committed by the person; or (ii) a contravention of the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 , section 177 (2) . Note— Under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 , section 177 (2) , a respondent against whom a domestic violence order has been made under that Act must not contravene the order.
- (i) domestic violence or associated domestic violence under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 2012 committed by the person; or
