### sec.121 Occupier of reporting facility must use estimation technique The occupier of a reporting facility must use a technique (an estimation technique ) for estimating emission data and mandatory transfer data for complying with the facility’s reporting requirements. The estimation technique must be— a technique for estimating the data for the reporting facility, approved by the chief executive under section 124 or 125 ; or if paragraph (a) does not apply—the technique for estimating the data stated in the industry reporting materials for the relevant type of reporting facility.
