### sec.724 Assessment of adequacy of response to submission and submitted EIS Subsection (2) applies if— before the commencement, a person makes a submission to the chief executive about a submitted EIS; and after the commencement, the chief executive accepts the submission. Section 56A applies to the EIS. Subsection (4) applies if the chief executive decides, under section 56A, to refuse to allow the EIS to proceed and the proponent— does not apply, under section 56B, to the Minister to review the decision; or applies, under section 56B, to the Minister to review the decision and the Minister confirms the decision. Section 56AA applies in relation to the submitted EIS. s 724 ins 2014 No. 59 s 107 (sec.724-ssec.1) Subsection (2) applies if— before the commencement, a person makes a submission to the chief executive about a submitted EIS; and after the commencement, the chief executive accepts the submission.
