### sec.639 Environmental authorities under old chapter 4A
A licence, other than a provisional licence, under old chapter 4A in force immediately before the commencement is, on the commencement, taken to be a non-code compliant authority under new chapter 4A for a level 1 petroleum activity.
On the commencement, a provisional licence under old chapter 4A ceases to be an environmental authority.
A level 2 approval under old chapter 4A in force immediately before the commencement is, on the commencement, taken to be a non-code compliant authority under new chapter 4A, for a level 2 petroleum activity.
