### sec.616C Conditions of transitional authority (SAA)
The conditions of a transitional authority (SAA) for an SAA mining activity are all of the following—
the conditions of the authority immediately before the commencement;
each condition under the special agreement Act that, had an environmental authority (mining activities) been granted for the SAA mining activity on the commencement, would reasonably be expected to have been a condition of the environmental authority (mining activities), having regard to the conditions that—
under section 210, may or must be included in a draft environmental authority; or
under section 305, may be imposed on an environmental authority (mining activities);
the condition about financial assurance imposed under section 616I.

- (a) the conditions of the authority immediately before the commencement;
- (b) each condition under the special agreement Act that, had an environmental authority (mining activities) been granted for the SAA mining activity on the commencement, would reasonably be expected to have been a condition of the environmental authority (mining activities), having regard to the conditions that— (i) under section 210, may or must be included in a draft environmental authority; or (ii) under section 305, may be imposed on an environmental authority (mining activities);
- (i) under section 210, may or must be included in a draft environmental authority; or
- (ii) under section 305, may be imposed on an environmental authority (mining activities);
- (c) the condition about financial assurance imposed under section 616I.
- (i) under section 210, may or must be included in a draft environmental authority; or
- (ii) under section 305, may be imposed on an environmental authority (mining activities);
