### sec.584 Definitions for pt 2 In this part— additional conditions see section 603(3). s 584 def additional conditions ins 2004 No. 48 s 131 (2) amending Act means the Environmental Protection and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2000 . amendment notice see section 606(2)(a). s 584 def amendment notice ins 2008 No. 37 s 4 commencement day means the day this section commences. condition , of a mining tenement, for division 2, see section 585. conversion application see section 603(2). s 584 def conversion application sub 2004 No. 48 s 131 environmental document requirement means a requirement under section 608. existing Act means this Act as it was in force immediately before chapter 5 commenced. existing mining activity , under a mining tenement, means an activity carried out under the tenement on, or at any time before, the commencement day. reminder notice see section 596(2). special agreement Act means any of the following Acts and any agreement or lease under or mentioned in the Acts— Alcan Queensland Pty.
