### sec.574D Grounds for amendment, suspension or cancellation Each of the following is a ground for amending, suspending or cancelling an auditor’s approval— the auditor has contravened a condition of the approval; the auditor has not complied with a code of conduct for auditors made by the chief executive and prescribed under a regulation; the auditor has been convicted of an offence under this Act; the auditor has been convicted of an offence under another Act involving misleading or fraudulent conduct; the auditor does not have the necessary expertise or experience to perform the auditor’s functions; the audits conducted by the auditor have not been conducted honestly, fairly or diligently. s 574D ins 2012 No. 16 s 58 amd 2023 No. 6 s 116 - (a) the auditor has contravened a condition of the approval; - (b) the auditor has not complied with a code of conduct for auditors made by the chief executive and prescribed under a regulation; - (c) the auditor has been convicted of an offence under this Act; - (d) the auditor has been convicted of an offence under another Act involving misleading or fraudulent conduct; - (e) the auditor does not have the necessary expertise or experience to perform the auditor’s functions; - (f) the audits conducted by the auditor have not been conducted honestly, fairly or diligently.
