### sec.548 Chief executive may make guidelines for administering authorities
The chief executive may make guidelines about—
how an administering authority complies with a regulatory requirement; or
when an administering authority may accept enforceable undertakings.
The administering authority must follow any guidelines made by the chief executive.
Before making a guideline, the chief executive must consult with the persons or entities the chief executive considers appropriate.
If a guideline is made, the chief executive must notify the making of the guideline in the gazette.

(sec.548-ssec.1) The chief executive may make guidelines about— how an administering authority complies with a regulatory requirement; or when an administering authority may accept enforceable undertakings.
(sec.548-ssec.2) The administering authority must follow any guidelines made by the chief executive.
(sec.548-ssec.3) Before making a guideline, the chief executive must consult with the persons or entities the chief executive considers appropriate.
(sec.548-ssec.4) If a guideline is made, the chief executive must notify the making of the guideline in the gazette.
