### sec.444H Preservation of rights
This section applies if a public service officer is appointed as the rehabilitation commissioner.
The person is entitled to retain all accrued or accruing rights as if service as the rehabilitation commissioner were a continuation of service as a public service officer.
At the end of the person’s term of office or resignation as the rehabilitation commissioner, the person’s service as the rehabilitation commissioner is taken to be service of a like nature in the public service for deciding the person’s rights as a public service officer.

(sec.444H-ssec.1) This section applies if a public service officer is appointed as the rehabilitation commissioner.
