### sec.440ZY Record keeping requirements
This section applies in relation to fuel supplied in the State, by a person who manufactures or imports the fuel, if—
a Commonwealth fuel standard determination applies to the fuel; and
the person is not required to keep a record for the supply of the fuel under the Fuel Quality Standards Act 2000 (Cwlth) , section 66 .
The person must keep the records relating to the fuel that are prescribed under a regulation.
Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
A requirement under subsection (2) to keep a record is a requirement to keep a record for 2 years after the supply of the fuel.
