### sec.440ZW Giving exemptions
If the chief executive decides to give the exemption, the chief executive must give the applicant a written notice stating—
the person to whom the exemption is given; and
the provision from which the person is exempted; and
the term for which the exemption is given; and
any conditions on which the exemption is given.
If the chief executive decides to impose conditions on the exemption, the notice must be accompanied by, or include, an information notice about the decision to impose the conditions.
An exemption given on conditions operates only if the conditions are complied with.
