### sec.334 Administering authority may request further information
The administering authority may, by written notice, ask the person or public authority that applied for the issue of the transitional environmental program to give further information needed to decide whether to approve the application.
The request must—
be made within 10 business days after the application is received; and
state that the applicant must give the information requested within 10 business days after the day the request is made (the information response period ); and
state that the application will lapse under section 334A if the applicant does not give the information within the information response period.
The applicant must, within the information response period, give the administering authority the requested information.
The applicant may, by written notice given to the administering authority, ask the administering authority to extend the information response period by no more than 10 business days.

(sec.334-ssec.1) The administering authority may, by written notice, ask the person or public authority that applied for the issue of the transitional environmental program to give further information needed to decide whether to approve the application.
(sec.334-ssec.2) The request must— be made within 10 business days after the application is received; and state that the applicant must give the information requested within 10 business days after the day the request is made (the information response period ); and state that the application will lapse under section 334A if the applicant does not give the information within the information response period.
(sec.334-ssec.3) The applicant must, within the information response period, give the administering authority the requested information.
