### sec.318YU Amendment, suspension or cancellation
Subsection (2) applies if, after considering any representations made during the show cause period, the chief executive—
if the proposed action was to suspend or cancel the recognition of the accreditation program—believes a ground exists for suspension or cancellation; and
believes taking the proposed action is warranted.
The chief executive may—
if the proposed action was to direct the owner of the accreditation program to amend the program in a stated way—direct the owner to make the stated amendment; or
if the proposed action was to amend a condition of recognition of the program in a stated way—make the stated amendment; or
if the proposed action was to suspend the recognition of the program for a stated period—suspend the recognition for no longer than the stated period; and
if the proposed action was to cancel the recognition of the program—suspend the recognition for a stated period or cancel the recognition.
If the chief executive decides to act under subsection (2) , the chief executive must give an information notice for the decision to the owner of the accreditation program as soon as is practicable.
The decision takes effect on—
the day the information notice is given to the person; or
a later day stated in the information notice.

(sec.318YU-ssec.3) If the chief executive decides to act under subsection (2) , the chief executive must give an information notice for the decision to the owner of the accreditation program as soon as is practicable.
(sec.318YU-ssec.4) The decision takes effect on— the day the information notice is given to the person; or a later day stated in the information notice.
- (a) if the proposed action was to suspend or cancel the recognition of the accreditation program—believes a ground exists for suspension or cancellation; and
- (b) believes taking the proposed action is warranted.
- (a) if the proposed action was to direct the owner of the accreditation program to amend the program in a stated way—direct the owner to make the stated amendment; or
- (b) if the proposed action was to amend a condition of recognition of the program in a stated way—make the stated amendment; or
- (c) if the proposed action was to suspend the recognition of the program for a stated period—suspend the recognition for no longer than the stated period; and
- (d) if the proposed action was to cancel the recognition of the program—suspend the recognition for a stated period or cancel the recognition.

- (b) a later day stated in the information notice.
