### sec.171 Deciding variation application This section applies for a variation application. The administering authority must decide— that the application be approved subject to conditions that are different to the standard conditions for the activity or authority; or that the applicant be issued an environmental authority subject to the standard conditions for the activity or authority. s 171 ins 2000 No. 64 s 6 sub 2004 No. 48 s 41 amd 2005 No. 42 s 52 sch 1 ; 2008 No. 52 s 18 sub 2012 No. 16 ss 7 – 8 (sec.171-ssec.1) This section applies for a variation application. (sec.171-ssec.2) The administering authority must decide— that the application be approved subject to conditions that are different to the standard conditions for the activity or authority; or that the applicant be issued an environmental authority subject to the standard conditions for the activity or authority. - (a) that the application be approved subject to conditions that are different to the standard conditions for the activity or authority; or - (b) that the applicant be issued an environmental authority subject to the standard conditions for the activity or authority.
