### sec.171 Deciding variation application
This section applies for a variation application.
The administering authority must decide—
that the application be approved subject to conditions that are different to the standard conditions for the activity or authority; or
that the applicant be issued an environmental authority subject to the standard conditions for the activity or authority.

(sec.171-ssec.1) This section applies for a variation application.
(sec.171-ssec.2) The administering authority must decide— that the application be approved subject to conditions that are different to the standard conditions for the activity or authority; or that the applicant be issued an environmental authority subject to the standard conditions for the activity or authority.
- (a) that the application be approved subject to conditions that are different to the standard conditions for the activity or authority; or
- (b) that the applicant be issued an environmental authority subject to the standard conditions for the activity or authority.
