### sec.93 Minister to direct QCA to decide feed-in tariff
The Minister—
must direct QCA to decide the feed-in tariff for each tariff year; and
may, at any time, direct QCA to decide the feed-in tariff for another period.
The Minister’s direction may state the following—
the period for which the feed-in tariff is to apply;
the time frame within which QCA is to decide the feed-in tariff;
the matters QCA must consider when deciding the feed-in tariff;
the consultation requirements QCA must comply with before deciding the feed-in tariff.
In deciding the feed-in tariff, QCA must consider—
the effect of the feed-in tariff on competition in the Queensland retail electricity market; and
any other matter stated in the Minister’s direction.

(sec.93-ssec.1) The Minister— must direct QCA to decide the feed-in tariff for each tariff year; and may, at any time, direct QCA to decide the feed-in tariff for another period.

- (a) must direct QCA to decide the feed-in tariff for each tariff year; and
- (b) may, at any time, direct QCA to decide the feed-in tariff for another period.
