### sec.186 Issue of transmission authorities
The regulator may issue a transmission authority to a person.
The authority must state—
the transmission grid that may be operated; and
if it may be connected to another transmission grid—the other transmission grid to which it may be connected; and
the term of the authority.
A transmission grid may be stated in the authority even though it has not been built when the authority is issued.
The authority may, but need not, state—
the precise limits of the transmission grid; or
that the transmission grid is to operate in a stated area.
The transmission grid mentioned in subsection (2) (b) may be a transmission grid outside the State.
(sec.186-ssec.1) The regulator may issue a transmission authority to a person.
(sec.186-ssec.2) The authority must state— the transmission grid that may be operated; and if it may be connected to another transmission grid—the other transmission grid to which it may be connected; and the term of the authority.
(sec.186-ssec.3) A transmission grid may be stated in the authority even though it has not been built when the authority is issued.
