### sec.122 Electricity restriction regulations
A regulation (an electricity restriction regulation ) may restrict the use of electricity provided through a transmission grid or supply network in a way the Governor in Council considers necessary or desirable to achieve the regulation’s purpose.
An electricity restriction regulation may restrict the use of electricity by regulating the use of electricity provided through a transmission grid or supply network, including, for example, by regulating—
the customers that may receive electricity; and
the maximum demand that may be imposed on the transmission grid or supply network by an electrical installation; and
the purposes for which electricity supplied through the transmission grid or supply network may be used; and
the electrical equipment that may be used by customers entitled to be provided with electricity through the transmission grid or supply network.
An electricity restriction regulation must state the purpose to be achieved by the regulation.

(sec.122-ssec.1) A regulation (an electricity restriction regulation ) may restrict the use of electricity provided through a transmission grid or supply network in a way the Governor in Council considers necessary or desirable to achieve the regulation’s purpose.

(sec.122-ssec.3) An electricity restriction regulation must state the purpose to be achieved by the regulation.
- (a) the customers that may receive electricity; and
- (b) the maximum demand that may be imposed on the transmission grid or supply network by an electrical installation; and
- (c) the purposes for which electricity supplied through the transmission grid or supply network may be used; and
- (d) the electrical equipment that may be used by customers entitled to be provided with electricity through the transmission grid or supply network.
