### sec.112A Clearing vegetation on freehold land for operating works This section applies despite the Planning Act . Clearing vegetation on freehold land is accepted development for the Planning Act if the clearing— is for operating works for a transmission entity or distribution entity; and is on premises the subject of a designation under the Planning Act for a type of infrastructure that is, or includes, the operating works. In this section— Planning Act means the Planning Act 2016 . vegetation see the Vegetation Management Act 1999 , section 8 . s 112A ins 2001 No. 100 s 91 amd 2005 No. 51 s 4 ; 2009 No. 36 s 872 sch 2 sub 2016 No. 27 s 203 (sec.112A-ssec.1) This section applies despite the Planning Act .
