### sec.68 Appointment of commissioner There is to be a commissioner for electrical safety. The commissioner is to be appointed by the Governor in Council by gazette notice. The commissioner is to be appointed under this Act, and not under the Public Sector Act 2022 . The commissioner's term of appointment is the term, not longer than 5 years, stated in the gazette notice appointing the commissioner.
