### sec.48B Meaning of in-scope electrical equipment In-scope electrical equipment is electrical equipment that— is operated by electricity within a voltage range prescribed by regulation for this paragraph; and is designed, or marketed as suitable, for household, personal or similar use. In-scope electrical equipment does not include electrical equipment prescribed by regulation for this subsection not to be in-scope electrical equipment. It is immaterial whether the electrical equipment is also designed or marketed to be used for commercial or industrial purposes. s 48B ins 2011 No. 4 s 8 sub 2024 No. 44 s 11 (sec.48B-ssec.1) In-scope electrical equipment is electrical equipment that— is operated by electricity within a voltage range prescribed by regulation for this paragraph; and is designed, or marketed as suitable, for household, personal or similar use.
